The Full Story
Reaching out to our community from the fog of Post Covid Lockdowns, we asked what we could do to make a positive difference? Lauren McRae from Fuz Designs proposed a co-working space, to provide an affordable professional space for those working from home who may wish to be available, in town and to allow greater connectivity to our community and the world.
As the consideration of such a project progressed, it makes sense for the Chamber of Commerce to create a space for professionals to work from, as they needed. And so, we created theHUB Gloucester. A multi-use professional space where people can come and go as they please and really make themselves comfortable. A space where the isolation of working from home is no more.

As the business plan was developed, it was clear this project could address the growing needs of the business community of Gloucester. Having a dedicated professional space for businesses to meet with consultants, provide a discreet space for confidential meetings and more. Networking and collaboration events can also be hosted in this modern and stylish space.

As stage one - theHUB Co-working and Study Space was completed, we immediately began planning stage two- theSkillsHUB Gloucester. This space is due to open in early 2024 and provide a modern and funky space for Taree Universities Campuses students to make use of locally! We aim to UpSkill, ReSkill and provide New Skills to the community of Gloucester. Geographically we acknowledge the need to Grow Our Own skills here. Providing opportunities to our Children for future skilling is key to the ongoing growth of our economy.
